打坐 Bhavana

Whichever lifetime we’re born into, whichever rebirth that we may take, it is always filled with suffering. We experience suffering from the day we’re born, till the day we are old. And from old age, till the day we die, suffering is always surrounding us, yet we are unable to overcome it. Therefore, we should be putting effort into making our mind still, focused and stable, let our mind be aware of every breath that we inhale and every breath that we exhale. By doing so, we can bring our mind to stillness and stability so that we may achieve concentration to really practice mediation (Bhavana). 

不管我们出生在哪一生,哪一世,我们的生命中都充满着痛苦。从出生那一刻,直到我们老。从老年,到我们死去那一刻,我们在周遭都看得见苦。虽然痛苦一直在我们身旁,但我们却没办法克服这痛苦。所以我们应该努力训练我们的心,让心平静,专注和稳定。我们要让心在每一个呼气,和每一个吸气都有觉知。这样一来我们就可以让心得到平静和稳定,有了这平静和稳定的心我们就能修禅。
